The Justinian Society of Lawyers is proud to co-host this timely and impactful CLE program as part of the Chicago Bar Association’s 2026 Diversity Week.

The overarching theme for Diversity Week 2026 is “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: 2026 and Beyond.”

Join the Justinians for a thoughtful discussion on how intentional mentorship can drive inclusion, equity, and long-term, meaningful change within the legal profession. We encourage all Justinian Society members to register for this session and to explore additional Diversity Week programming offered by the Chicago Bar Association.

Charles S. Beach II serves as the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, the largest of the 24 judicial circuits in Illinois and one of the largest unified court systems in the world. More than 1 million cases are annually filed in the court, which serves Cook County’s nearly 5.2 million residents.

Chief Judge Beach oversees about 400 judges, whom he assigns throughout the court’s 10 divisions and 6 geographic districts. He also oversees an annual budget of $414 million and about 2,600 employees, who work in 15 non-judicial offices providing court-related services such as probation and courtroom interpreters.
